This student-led workshop, partly organized by members of the Student Council of Environmental and Geosciences at Stockholm University, brings together students and leading researchers to explore the role of international governance in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future.

How can global cooperation respond to accelerating environmental and geopolitical change?

This session brings together students with students with leading researchers to examine the state of global cooperation in a time of accelerating environmental and geopolitical change. Grounded in the latest scientific evidence, the discussion will explore the effectiveness of international agreements, where governance systems are falling short, and which pathways offer the most promise for science-informed action.

The aim is to provide a clearer understanding of where the world stands today and what is needed to steer global systems towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
